Living just outside Durham in Apartment Bijou was a comfortable experience. the location was perfect, with shops and eateries nearby. the apartment had character and was well-equipped with laundry facilities and a hairdryer. the property manager was helpful and even allowed us to use the garage. the cleanliness could have been better, with some areas overlooked in the cleaning process. it was a pleasant stay, despite this minor setback. Durham itself was a beautiful city worth visiting.

One great plus was the ample on-street parking available right outside the apartment. Additionally, there was a 7am to 9pm convenience store just 50 yards away.

The cleanliness of the apartment wasn't perfect. There were cobwebs, bits all over the bathroom floor, and hairs in the sink, shower, and bath.

It was super clean and had a modern decor that was jaw-dropping. The location was GREAT, with lots of outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and fishing nearby. We even spotted a horseback riding trail and a golf course. The town had cute little shops and cafes, perfect for a short break. The key collection process was super simple and the owner was always in good communication. We also loved the convenience of the nearby convenience store. We were allowed to bring our pets along, which was a plus. we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again.

The owner even let us use the garage at no extra cost. We also loved the village, which had several good inexpensive shops, cash machines, a Post Office, cafes. We even had the chance to attend Sunday services at the local Baptist church.
